I did get us a night at the Stockyards Hotel, though, so he can go see a rodeo and all that nonsense. We'll probably have lunch at the Lonesome Dove the next day, then head down to Glen Rose to go to Dinosaur Valley state park. It was really cool to see those dinosaur footprints in the river for the very first time, so I think he will like it. After that, we're going to Fossil Rim and taking a tour in the evening. We'll stay the night and take the behind-the-scenes tour the next morning, then head back down home. That's two days. Before we head to Ft. Worth, though, I'm thinking about bringing him up to Dallas for a day and staying at Tania's mom's place or somthing. They all would like to meet him, and that way we can hit the Ripley's Beleive it or Not on the highway between Dallas& Ft. Worth when we head to the stockyards XD
I really wanted to go to the Dallas Aquarium, but I think I'm the only person excited about it. Matt just said "Yay, fish. Whatever. -..-" And our freind has probably seen amazing aquariums before. Someone suggested I take him to the 6th Floor Book Depository Museum, but I somehow doubt he's interested in American history at all. As cool as the West End would be, we really hate travelling and parking in downtown Dallas.. so that day is kind of up in the air.
I do still need to look into rodeo tickets. They are most likely purchasable at the door, but I'll have to look into it.
I was thinking about going down to the Natural Bridge Caverns, but I thought they were just south out of Austin. They're actually just north of San Antonio, and I don't think we're going to go down there at all... so skip the caverns, probably. We thought about maybe doing Austin, but I'm not really sure what kind of ID some sort of foreign tourist would need to drink along 6th street
