This time, the projector stopped and the lights turned on twice during the movie -..-
After the film started again for the third time, the sound was messed up for the rest of the time we were there!
The theatre attendants were like "Uh, it should be back on in like 5 min." and then he came back a few moments later to say "Uh, ok.. how many people are here? 8?" and then took off again.. They fixed it, we got to watch a few more moments of Inception before the lights came back on and the projector stopped... just long enough for me to reach for my bag! Then it came on again, but they didn't offer any sort of compensation. They never do. I wish I had more choices in town. We have a dollar theatre, and then if you go out towards Hewitt, there's the Hollywook Jewel. The seats stink a little less, and feel a little less like you're sitting in a pile of stale nacho sauce, but that's hardly an improvement.
Overall, it's frustrating because there are some films I don't nessesarily want to wait for DVD release to see. (There are also PLENTY of things that never make it to Waco in the first place...)
But come on.. not so much as an appology? No "Sorry for the inconvenience" or "Sorry for interrupting your experience, shattering your temporary suspension of disbelief, and ruining the audio track for the rest of the film"
So somthing was really bothering my husband with this movie >..>
I liked the open ending, but he likes a happy ending, so it's been driving him nuts.
Zoi: We left at the start of the credits, because we were pissed about the exciting movie experience :X He wants to know:
At the end of the credits, was there a bonus scene at the end where you get to see the top fall over?
Anyway, I don't think that's really spoilers for those of you that may not have seen it yet. Not THAT many people read this thing, and if you haven't seen the movie, you don't know the significance of those things anyway :X
But yeah, I thought it was pretty good. I was impressed. IMDB says it's the 3rd Christopher Nolan movie in 5 years where Cillian Murphy spends a good ammount of time with a bag over his head. I lol'ed.
But seriously... Starplex, you peice of shit :/
I should also mention the kiosk where you can swipe your card and buy tickets and not stand in line was broken. The line wasn't open, and like most summer months, (probably because it's damn hot) you have to buy your tickets at the concession stand. Ghettooooo~~~!
