Dentist-->6mo checkup today<--

No cavities! Whohoo!

It's been like 2 years since I've had to get a tooth filled or capped. I hope this lucky streak keeps up. My teeth are srsly shitty. Matt wasn't as lucky. He's getting like 4 holes filled and a new crown. I think he's going to win the denture race!

In other news, I'm still working on cleaning and organizing the house. It's a little bit each day. I wonder if it's because we're approaching the 10 year mark with this house? I'm not sure, but it seems like this year has been a year of changes for this place. Getting all the wires out of the living room was a major thing. I'm also looking at putting vinyl siding on the house this year. Eventually, we'll have to get a new fridge. I'd also like to get the master bathroom professionally remodeled (eventually). These arn't things that will happen any time soon, but they are on my list of things to do. I need to empty the tool closet, reorganize it, and put everything back, too. That closet is a mess and a half.

In the past month, though, Matt and I have worked together to throw away some of the clutter. There were old VHS players in a closet that were broken and had been there for years. WTF.

Another major project was the 100+ slim packs we filled. We were running out of room on the shelves for DVDs. I sold back a bunch of stuff we didn't want anymore, but most of what we buy, we want to keep. So, we bought slim packs and started re-packing all the DVDs in slimmer cases. It gives us like 50% more room per shelf! To make all the art fit, I pulled out the flat rotary cutter thinger and shaved a few centimeters off both sides. It worked really well. It's a little harder to read the cases now, but whatevs :X Things are feeling more organized here at least. We still have a long way to go, though
