I normally comment a little on whatever game I'm playing at the time, but I'm not really playing much of anything right now. I finally beat Summon Night: Twin Age on the Nintendo DS. I've been playing that game off and on for like two years now. It's great to be able to pick it up, go through a dungeon, and put it back down. For some reason, though, I never just sat down and finished it. I finally did that a few weeks ago, just to discover there were a bunch of extra stages as the end. It took me a few more weeks to get through those, because I was playing about one dungeon a night before bed. It looks like there's a new game + mode that will carry over your items/skills/level/gold/etc, and that could be fun, but I'm done with that game for now. It's time to move on to somthing else I haven't beaten yet. I bought Nostalgia and Sands of Destruction for DS recently, and haven't started either of them yet.
Ragnarok (As in Ragnarok Online, the korean MMO that's about 10 years old now) is coming out on DS very soon. It will have limited wireless capability, so you can party with people around you wirelessly, but it will be mostly a single player game. I'm looking forward to it, because maybe I'll get to MVP for once! :X We're getting two copies, so that Matt and I can play together. kunkunkun should buy it too, so that next time we get together, we can all party somewhere :P
Oh yeah.. speaking of getting together.. I'm settling on what I want to do for my birthday this year!
We'd been tossing the idea around for a while, but hadn't really settled on anything. We wanted to go last spring and see some freinds, but it didn't really pan out due to multiple scheduling conflicts. When I mentioned to a freind that I didn't want to be alone this year for my birthday, they suggested Vegas. The reasoning was, why not go all out? I agree!
It looks like I may have a pretty big group to hang out with, too. The more people I talk to, the more seem interested :) It should be fun.
I was originally thinking about getting a large suite and rooming with 4-5 freinds, but there will be too many to do that now. I thought about looking into getting a block of rooms, but not everyone will want to stay in the same place. A few of the people I talked to seemed interested in getting a super cheapo place on their own, and just taking a cab to wherever they wanted to go. That works, too, so I'm not going to look into any group rates. It's going to be hard enough to get even half of the people who are interested to commit to going, let alone commit to getting a room in the same place :P
