I probably should have hit the gym in the morning when I didn't know what to do with myself, but it honestly didn't occur to me. I was too busy trying to salvage my sleep. Then, in the afternoon, I had a dentist's appointment to get my two new crowns seated. Yay for bad teeth! I love my new fake teeth!! After that, Ray's ride came to pick him up, and they stuck around here for a few more hours trying to decide when the best time to go was to avoid Austin rush hour. Now that they've gone, it's 5:30. I suppose I could go and run around, find some clothes to put on, and make it out to the gym, but I don't know that I want to :( I mean, I never want to go to the gym, but I want to savor this little bit of peace before I have to make lunch for Matt to take to work and get some more cleaning done. Ray always leaves my kitchen a huge mess. I don't know that he's capable of cleaning it himself. I guess he either feels bad, or just gets really annoyed when I bring it up, because he always makes this wacky face and grumbles a lot. He tries to clean up a little, but he leaves food and sticky crap all over the counters and the floor and the oven and the stove top and the sink and the other counters and overpacks the trash can, etc... I mean.. the little picking up he does isn't enough to keep the cockroaches out XP So I spent about an hour or two working on the kitchen earlier today. I still need to sweep in there and do floors around the house. Cat fur everywhere. Still :/ But I'm starting to get the house whipped into shape.
I'm getting pretty hungry. My appointment was at like 2:20, but when I showed up at 2:10, they said they'd been expecting me at 2. I felt really bad, but srsly. 2:20 was on the card D: They told me not to eat on things "For a couple of hours." I don't know what a couple is, but I'm assuming it's like 2-3. And if they were done a little before 3, and it's 5:30 now, it's probably pretty safe to start thinking about dinner. I dunno! I'll figure somthing out.
So many games have come out lately that I'm having a really hard time keeping up with them.
I've recently picked up all this crap:
Star Ocean: First Departure (Working through it now. It's just like Star Ocean 2, yay! I love Tri-Ace, YAY!)
Tales of Symphonia II (Sheesh, I should probably finish the last 1 hr on the first one before I play this. But I never beat Tales of... Games, so it's ok?)
Luminous Arc (Sequel just game out. Figured I should get the first one. Heard it was good)
Castlevania Judgement (Castlevania Wii Fighting Game- REALLY BAD. HILARIOUSLY BAD!)
Chrono Trigger (Re-release on DS. One day... I will get past the whole Akira Toriyama aspect, and a whole new world of games will open up for me!)
Last Remnant SERIOUS GAMES ARE SERIOUS BUSINESS
Considering all these came out in such a short space of time, I'm really having a hard time deciding what to play. Not to mention Persona 4 came out today... And I still haven't finished Tales of the Abyss.. and Tales of Vesperia is really freakin' hard. I also haven't conquered Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, or even started that Spectral Force game I picked up. Atlus is fortunate that I shell out for most of what they release just because it's Atlus. :/ I feel really bad starting all these games up, getting past the opening credits, saving my game, and turning them off though. It's just that.. the new Warcraft expansion is the destroyder of worlds D: Since I already hit 80, though, it's only a matter of time before I get back to where I was a few months ago and only logging in for raids :P Then I'll get more house beautification done. It's a slow process, but it's getting there. The hardest part is me being able to let some of this junk go, and put Matt's junk in order.
But hey, I have new teeth today!
