I made it out to the gym today to make up for yesterday. I haven't had a really stellar workout since before the labor day holiday, so I'm kind of bummed about that. I got bumped back down to beginner for two days, and now I'm back on intermediate and struggling like I was a month ago. I'm not sure what's going on. I made a doctor's appointment to touch base with him and have him look at this weird bump on the back of my head. (It's not a tumor!~~ Just another sebaceous cyst, but it's gotten big enough to give me a headache if I try to lay on my back) Unfortunately, I can't get in until the second week of Oct. WTF! There's no emergency, so I'm ok with waiting, but I was only expecting to have to wait 2 weeks or so to get in. Certainly not over a month! I'm going to get a new lipid panel and hopefully see some progress on my cholesterol. By the time I get in and have it done, it'll be 6 months since I joined, so it seems like a good marker to monitor any progress on the lipid panel.
I'm also going to try to reember to schedule my eye exam, because it's been about a year since I've done one of those too. Taking care of my body just seems way too high maintenance most of the time :/
