Moar oral surgery!

I was planning on posting more about the trip and the wedding and all that jazz, but I totally forgot that today was Matt's surgery. He had 3 wisdom teeth left in his mouth, and the surgeon that operated on me took them all out today. His were in pretty bad shape, so they had to cut down into the bone to get all the peices of the roots out. It's good that they're gone, but he's not going to be feeling all that peachy for a while. For me, I felt that my prescription painkillers were kinda optional. There were times when I wanted to take them every time I could, but for the most part, I didn't really feel like I was in all that much pain. Poor Matt is still bleeding a little, and he's in quite a bit of pain. His jaw is going to be sore for a while, and it's going to take a little longer for him to heal up.
All I can really do is make sure I stay up so he gets his meds, and keep him eating/drinking cold stuff so it heals up faster.
It's a little tough because my sleep schedule is all messed up. I'm waking up at 7AM and wanting to go to sleep by 10. WTF. Anyway.. I have to try to stay up until midnight, or he'll miss a pain med dose and be hurting when I need to sleep :(

I have all sorts of good stuff for him to eat, though. Even though he won't be able to have solid food for a little bit, I have lots of jello, yogurt, pudding, ice cream, applesauce, etc. And when he can have hot foods, I have a few flavors of mashed potatos :O

Yaaaay! The con is over! Time to get ready for the next one! Sometimes, twitter just cannot contain all the things I want to say about a subject.…

  • Oh wow, I haven't blogged in forever!

I kind of forget about Livejournal now. It feels so empty that I've joined a bunch of communities, but it's not really helping! Since November,…

  • November is almost over already?!?!

I've really enjoyed not having anything important to do for a while. I've been cleaning (a little bit), quilting (a lot, but in short bursts), and…
