I'm pretty dissappointed in the camera AI, though. I don't know what they changed between the first and second, but it's not good for me. The first Kingdom hearts game did not make me motion sick or nauseous, but this one does :(
And the horsie guys in Mulanland are pissing me off right now.
Otherwise.. I had a serious fangirl moment when I saw Setzer.. then cried when I saw Setzer-mullet. I really do NOT like Tetsuya Nomura's character designs. IMO, they worked well for FF8, but I haven't liked them for any other game. And I hate what he did to Setzer :(
Gummi ship stuff is a lot more fun in this game, but the constant camera angle chances& pans also make me want to vomit. I love videogames, but the 3-D explosion has been bad to me. I like to be able to move the camera to where I want it to be, and have it always default there. I don't like getting close to a wall, and having the camera jump up& down within the hero's model art. I don't like the camera swinging erratically as I move or target, and I don't like the camera angle sweeping up from the floor. >:(
Technical things aside, the story seems kinda stupid, (even though gameplay is pretty solid) and I'm just waiting for every character in the story to jump up, realize that using disney summons have wiped all their memories, and have them realize they don't exist in the real world after 60 hours of gameplay. Go Square Go!
Oh yeah. And they really dumbed down Grandia III D:
The gameplay on that one is solid, too, but the chick SOOO doesn't look old enough to be the main dude's mom. And the game TELLS YOU what the best move EACH TURN is. That's kind of dumb D: I'm glad you can turn it off, though.
