Movie night
Recap:
Tues was Akuma's birthday :D
Weds was our 3rd wedding anniversary :O

I was pretty bummed out on Tuesday, because it was akuma's week back at work. I ran out in the morning to get him a birthday cake and find him a present, so he could at least enjoy them before he went to sleep for the afternoon. I ended up getting him a cheesey video game, and a really good ice cream cake from baskin robin's. When I got home, he wasn't even that tired. I felt kind of bad for him, until he sprung some rather amazing news on me. He was on vacation D:
I guess it's cheesey, but I swear I almost cried. I couldn't beleive that he had kept it a secret for so long... I mean, he had to put all his vacation time down by the first week of Jan. D: Oh man.. I really felt like I was the one getting the present, though. It's hard to explain, but I'm just so happy we have more time together. He's not going anywhere, but it's really hard sometimes on the weeks he's working...

I was going to cook for him, but didn't pick up anything from the grocery store. I was in a hurry to get the cake home& kind of did things out of order, so we ordered pizza :P

We didn't exchange gifts on Weds, because we were silly and impatient and exchanged gifts the week before :P
I got him somthing pretty cool, IMO. I gave him a replica of Boromir's sword from the Lord of the Rings trilogy. While I was looking up the photo to show you guys, I was worried I'd find out that I payed way too much when I went to the main site. But oh man, did I get a deal D: I picked it up over 100 dollars cheaper than the website displays it as. Huzzah! (I really did feel the price I paid was fair for the quality of the item. I was kind of paranoid I was being gouged, but I'm glad to find out I wasn't. I really wanted this too, but it was like 500 bucks... but still way cheaper than purchasing it from the site D: But oh my god.. it looked awesome up close, and I swear the fucker weighed like 50 pounds.
ANYWAY.. he loved it, and we're trying to figure out where to hang it now.

Despite having the day off, though, we didn't really get to go out to dinner because of his sleep schedule, so we went out to my favorite steak place last night.

Being the random family holidays out of order as they were, I somehow found time to sit down and watch some movies in all of this.
When I went birthday shopping, I was guilty of picking up some stuff for myself. So last night, I rented and watched Nobody Knows (A japanese film I rented on the reccomendation of minakokouchou.) Yes, it was depressing. D: I also bought the 4th harry potter movie, and Howl's moving castle.
I watched Howl's earlier in the day, and I swear I was crying through the whole goddamned movie. And then I turned around and watched Nobody Knows all by myself. I was a sobbing mess by the end of it.
So to lighten the mood, I also watched the 4th Harry potter movie. :X

Mmmm... CAKE!

lol It's a sad sad day when the 4th Harry Potter movie is the "pick me up" film.

I learned a little secret that makes the end of Goblet of Fire hilarious.
And I'm going to hell for it.

Shortly after the movie came out, some of the guys I play WoW with said the ending reminded them of the death of Blue in the movie Old School. Will Ferrel is screaming "THAT'S MY BOY BLUE! THAT'S MY BOY!"
And in THAT movie, it's so retarded it's funny. So.. same exact lines in goblet... and I'm not a sobbing wreck at the end.
