I am starting to worry about my health, and it is all Celine's fault.
I'm not entirely certain these candies are edible D: (She gave me a large bag of Russian mysteries for Chrismas. She knows how I like to try to eat weird things.. heh.. it's awesome)
The big things like the bars, etc, have been pretty good.. but the little things.. my god. I open them, sniff them, take a bite, and throw them away. I'm sorry. But goddamn... lol
And I'm pretty sure that this bag of stuff= cough drops, not candy. I haven't opened it yet. But they look an awful lot like cough drops.
I was really sad when I heard about Kevin from fansview. He's really impacted the community in a positive way. People love to joke about how he catches costumers with the worst possible expressions on their faces... but...
You could spend 10 dollars, or 1000 dollars on your costume, and he will take your photo and put it on the website no matter what. He really does document the fandom and the costumers fairly, IMO. I remember the first time I wore a ghetto costume I put together for a con. I hadn't spent a lot of money on it.. and I was still learning a lot about crafting, but he took my picture! He's such a positive and encouraging force in the community that when I heard about what happened at Ohayocon, I was heartbroken. I'm very glad to hear that he is doing well now, though, and it really made me step back a bit and realize how much I love seeing him at conventions, and chatting with him about random stuff. He's always interested in the costume constructions, and I don't think I've ever heard him say a bad thing about a single person. I've decided I want to do somthing cool for him for Ushi. I'm going to make him somthing :)
So I guess technically, I have 4 sewing projects. But where I have to finish 3 things in 1 weekend (basically), I have all the rest of the time to work on my special project for fansview. I just have to decide on colors now.
