Senpu's follow up vet visit!

I have to take him in every other month now to make sure his blood oxygen readings are still good, and the medication is still working. I don't like having to bring him in so often because it stresses him out, but I know it's nessesary. As long as things are going well, and we know he's not in any pain or discomfort, it's worth it. By keeping up with the vet visits, we'll know as soon as things start going south, and he won't have to suffer a really long time.

I am happy to report that this latest visit went great!

His Xrays are SOOOOOO much clearer than last time. The doc was able to see a little bit of his heart this time. It's taken 2 months to get him cleared up this much, but she thinks he will still improve a little bit. He's been purring so much lately, and his purr sounds so deep and clear now! His meow is nice and strong, and he's doing all sorts of things I haven't seen him do in a while. He's a very happy cat! I'm so glad he's doing better. The vet said a lot of people don't agree to the diagnostic stuff, and just ask the animal be euthanized. Sure, he's on medication for life now.. (just a little orange goo in an eyedropper twice a day), but he's back to a normal quality of life now!

We also shaved him up a little bit :X He doesn't clean himself quite as much as he used to, and I think he just gets tired when get gets halway down. He keeps his fuzzy butt clean, and his face and paws, but the stretch in between was getting matted. The vet suggeted we do a stripe from the chin to the butt. He looks hilarious now! I think he's enjoying it, though. He's been scooting around the floor and rolling and stretching and purring and doing other happy cat things. Nugget is still antagonizing him :/ Now, however, it's not so hard for him to get away, and he doesn't have to exert himself so much.

I have to hit the grocery store and it's almost 5pm. This is going to suck
