Not-turkey day and avoiding the Black Friday curse

For some weird reason, Matt doesn't like Turkey for Thanksgiving. Apparently, what it boils down to is the fact that he had the bird twice a year (Thanksgiving, Christmas) every year for a long time... And was sick of like 2 months of leftovers every year XD
I'm like.. MMMMM TURKEY D:
I mean.. seriously.. since he's not a big fan, why am I going to cook a huge ass bird just for myself every year? So we do ham.. and aside from sliced deli meats& pot pies, I can't remember, for the life of me, when the last time I had a turkey was. It's not THAT big of a deal because I'm not a fan of stuffing at all.

Well, scratch that. I love Grandma P's buttermilk mystery stuffing. I'm not sure what all is in it. I don't remember. I think I remember potatoes, maybe some ground beef or somthing, buttermilk, onion.. some other stuff probably.. Anyway.. Dad used to make that stuff on occassion and put it in roasting chickens, and it was to die for. I love that stuff.
But I don't like traditional turkey stuffing. I guess I just don't get it. My dad can cook. He's awesome at it. Therefore, I can safely say he stuffing is awesome. But I don't like stuffing. Even when I've trieed other people's. I guess it's the types of seasonings that go in it.. or the fact that you're just eating mushy bread that's mixed with turkey offal and soaked/baked/etc in the nether regions of said bird.

I really just love nothing more than buttering up some bread, stuffing some turkey leftovers in there, and nuking it. It's sooo gooooood. And I kind of miss that.
I think we might have a turkey for thanksgiving, though.

Also in the spirit of the holidays, I refused to leave the house the day after Thanksgiving :P

Today we went to go see the Tenacious D movie, though :X And we stopped by gamestop/starbucks (since they're right next to each other). I picked up Lumines II :D

I think I'm going to order cheese off the internet tomorrow :O
