Brraaarrgghhh! BEHOLD! GODZILLA!
Can't sleep. I guess that means it's a good time for me to work on things again? Argh >..<

Well, I'm very happy to report that with the corset closed, I can take in at LEAST 4 inches from the waist of my dress, PLUS, having a corset underneath will help the satin sit *very* nicely. I just need to adjust the neckline of the bodice, and cut the bottom, and when.

>..< Whee!

Thank you for calling& being worried about me& stuff, Ringo! You're a sweeheart, too XD

You know.. I've been reading through my weddings for dummies book.
They make it sound like it's a 30,000 event.

Not my wedding! I'm cheap! BWAH!
Speaking of which- I'm working on deciding on random music.
I know M wants the dance to be to a Led Zepplin song. It's the one Jimmy Page wrote for Robert Plant's wedding? (Or was it the other way around?) I don't really remember, but the lyrics are very sweet. The song is friggin' long, though, so you really can't expect us to dance the entire time! Both of us admit that we SUCK at dancing.

So.. I'm thinking of music to play before and after the ceremony, as well as music to play during the reception. I can't afford live music, and I don't think I want to hire a DJ. I own a CD player. Yup.
I still have to figure that blasted part out >..<

In any case.. Music!
ATTENTION:
If ANY of you own ANY of the symphonic X Japan albums (X Japan on Piano, Symphonic X Japan: Jealousy OR Blue Blood...) could you help a poor bride-to-be out, and hook me up with some copies?? I'm thinking that I want to fill the dead time with symphonic J-rock... well.. b/c I think that it would be a little bit more flavorful& personal than "insert customary classical peice here."
I'm also thinking about playing selected Final Fantasy symphonic and vocal remixes (See track 1 of FF Pray- the Prelude.. as well as a few of the other softer ones.. though I do beleive that track 4 would be too forceful for the march)
Ok.. so I'm a dorky fangirl.. but if it's pretty, and you don't know anything about the videogames, you won't know the difference, right?
Which brings me back to X. X... they, um... yeah. Too many remixes. I have the musicbox fantasy album.. or whatever it's called. But the plinky musicbox stuff is too cheesey. I'm interested in getting some of the symphonic stuff& the X on piano album. I think some of them would be nice for filler/background music. So.. IF ANY OF YOU OWN THEM, AND COULD SPARE A COPY (burn, MP3, etc) I more than likely CANNOT get anything shipped from Japan in time for the wedding without paying exorbiant fees... so please help out and let me know if you have them and can get me a copy on CD. This is the only time you will hear me panhandle for bootlegs!!!!!
Also- If you can think of any other symphonic J-rock that immediately comes to mind, let me know! There is a chance that I own the album/single, and just don't realize the music would work.
Any other ideas?
I'm thinking about going through my collection of singles here pretty soon, and seeing if there are any unique instrumentals on there for me to include.

I used to have most of the mp3s from the symphonic Blue Blood and the piano albums before my hard drive ate them. I'll check and see if I managed to salvage any of them to my burned CDs though. Luna Sea also has a symphonic album floating around, along with a piano one. I've never looked into any of them but they might be appropriate. Now for more specific suggestions.

La'miss Fairy has a very pretty instrumental called Fairy Tale. Short, but it seems very appropriate. Malice Mizer also has Zenchou on the Voyage album, which I believe would be a decent candidate. The hide tribute album has a symphonic version of Good Bye. And then if you don't mind some straight piano instrumentals from obscure sources I have two more prospects that are kind of iffy in terms of appropriateness, but still very nice music anyway.

Good ideas!
I didn't know that Luna Sea had some stuff. I'll have to look into that. I've never heard "Fairy Tale," but I do have that hide CD, and I do think that Yoshiki's good bye would be pretty, also ^..^ MM- I was thinking of somthing from one of the earlier albums, but couldn't remember if it was on Voyage or Memoire. Probably thinking of the one from Voyage. I'll have to pull the album out. Thanks!

I will happily play DJ with your CD player as long as I don't have to dance. ^_^
