Last weekend was exciting
But now I'm home!

And I'm currently pissed that for some reason, itunes is glitching out while importing a specific song. I finally buckled and bought Depeche Mode's "Sounds of the Universe" a few weeks ago. I got the disk home and imported everything onto the computer quickly and then dumped it on my ipod for the trip.

I didn't notice until late Sat. night that one of the songs is totally messed up. Ironically, the song is called Corrupt. The sad thing is, since I didn't have my copy of the CD with me, I thought they were just releasing an incomplete song on the album to be ironic or whatever. I was a little frustrated, because it seemed like it was building up to be the best song on the album.

When I got home, I saw that the track was supposed to be over 8 min long, not 1:20. It's the last song on the album, so it has a secret track on it, and I can't help but wonder if that's why it's having problems grabbing it off the disk. I've tried to specifically grab that song a few times today, and it can't seem to do it. I'm kind of aggravated, because now that I've heard the whole thing, I'm convinced it's the best one on the album >:O

Gaaah

if the track is actually 8 minutes long it'll probably start playing after a pause of a minute or so. on some albums the hidden tracks are actually seperate tracks (though they may still have a few secs, perhaps a minute of silence before they start playing)

I appreciate your eagerness to help, but that isn't the issue at all :(
The track isn't transferring off, period. I'm only getting about a minute before audio corruption gets too bad and it either stops the track or the static/blips/sound artifacts get too bad. It's not supposed to sound like that. It sounds like a normal song when I play the disc in a CD player. It's some sort of problem with the digital conversion

then you could try to rip the song from a youtube video or download it. affraid I don't have any other ideas.
