Costume stuff
I suppose one of the reasons I'm not really making any progress on this costume is laziness. I'm sure there are others, but I'm too lazy to think of more.

Actually, Matt and I have started having fun with our first old, ghetto MMO, iRO. We haven't played in years, but every so often I miss my awesome hat collection, and we renew for a month or so. Then, we get frustrted with how crappy, old, and ghetto the game is, and how long it takes to lvl after you hit 90-somthing, and give up for a while. So.. yeah.. That's time I could be spending gluing stuff to stuff.

I'm also a little bit stumped on how to make the horn/beard for the Mayuri headdress. I want to use craft foam, since it will be light. I can form it with heat to make the shapes I want, but it's not a perfect science. Making round shapes warps the foam, and it's not always the easiest to work with. Another problem is the fact that they're such weird shapes. I'm starting to think my best bet would be to sculpt the shapes I need out of clay or somthing, and then heat up the foam on the shape and see if I can't make it work that way. I really don't want to waste my time sculpting those peices if it doesn't work, though. And since I'm supremely lazy, that puts me in a tough spot :P

I suppose I can try the smaller forehead peice first. And if that works, I can make a beard. I plan on stuffing the shapes with some batting or somthing anyway, so there's no way they could cave in, but I think it'll be ok. We'll see.

I also need to hit the grocery store, but I'm feeling way too lazy. blaaahhh
