Month 3... Second Measurement day!
I have mixed feelings about my results this month. I am definitely making progress, but it's so little it's hard to stay positive about things. Last month, I gained like 2-3 lbs. I am assuming this was muscle, because I've really gained definition. I was still dissappointed that the numbers were going up and not down, though. I did, however, lose an inch and a half off my ass, and 1% body fat.
This month, I've lost 3 lbs, an inch off my waist, and 1/2 inch off my ass. My body fat % stayed the same, and all my other measurements stayed the same.

This is good I guess? I'm hoping one month to lose more than 5 lbs. It seems like I should be dropping a little faster, but all in all, it was a good gain considering I spent the weekend immediately before it in a pure hedonistic, gluttonous stupor in Dallas. You really can't beat floating around a cool pool in hot weather drinking wine coolers, though.

I measured my waist about two weeks ago and didnt' see any difference, but the lady who did it this month seemed to pull it tighter than normal. From the 2in I took in on my Arshtat waist cincher, though, I could have guessed I lost there XD

I dunno. I don't think it's unrealistic for me to want it to go at least a little faster. I figured I'd be losing around 5-8ish lbs a month and be able to meet my 30 lb goal for Afest, no problem. I think I will be lucky if I lose 15 at this rate :P I will keep going, though. Maybe because the numbers are going down now, I'll see better progress next month. It's really hard to say since I slipped up the last week and a half with food. I have to try and have faith that if I keep plodding along, I'll eventually get where I want. It really does seem that the longer I go, the harder it gets, though. I was hoping that once I got into the swing of things it would be easier. :P

Just got to keep at it, much as it sucks, these things do take time. On a related note, do you find yourself with more stamina now? Are you working out MORE than you were before? (I'm also kinda curious what you're doing, when I had a PT he had me do weights and some other stuff, which was probably good because left to myself I do one thing: cardio. I'm like the only person I know that LIKES to jog or do other cardio exercises but I really don't feel any benefit from doing the resistance stuff. Which is bad, because it's the same thing, you've got to stick with it and look to the long term but it's always :P )

I feel pretty much the same, but I have shoulder muscles that could suffocate a yak now.
I imagine I probably don't get winded as easily now, but I haven't really tested it. I always feel like I'm dying when I work out anyway, so the real test would be running up and down steps or somthing. I avoided stairs when I could at A-kon just because it's really hard to get DOWN them in my platform boots. I held up the escalators because they didn't have them on. It was really exciting.
My workout is the typical one they have everyone do at my gym. It's around 30 min and similar to the popular high-intensity training stuff if you go all out at it. It's forgiving enough that the old ladies can do it at their pace and still feel like they're doing somthing. I do 30 sec stationary jogging/cardio type stuff and then 30 sec on a machine, and I rotate through the machines. They don't have adjustable weights. They're all hydralic. So basically if I go faster, I get more out of it than if I go slowly.
Before I joined the gym, you'd be lucky if you saw me on my bike once a month :P I really didn't exercise at all after I graduated from highschool. I did a lot of running around campus in college to get to classes, but I put on a ton of weight from doing work-study at the cafeteria, and it kind of snowballed from there. So I figured since I didn't really exercise before, I can't help but lose weight now :P Just waiting for the results
